Great Trethew Manor is set in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by 40 acres of beautiful gardens, woodlands and meadows. The only access is a delightful half mile drive.

Bordered with many lovely trees and shrubs. There are many woodland and garden walks which harbor a wide variety of wildlife including, Woodpeckers, Jays, Nut Hatches, Pigeon, Pheasant, Partridge, Snipe, Kingfisher, Heron, Fox, Rabbits. Badgers and the occasional Deer.

Inside the Manor we have a large character bar and restaurant with a beamed ceiling, flag toned floor and log fires when the evenings get chilly. The Restaurant with candle lit tables and roaring log fires in the winter offers an A La Carte Menu to suit everybody's taste. We serve top quality food from the harbour, the farm and the game keepers larder. New this year we are offering our amazing Volcanic Lava Stones.

Within the grounds we have a hard tennis court (under reconstruction), fish ponds, trout lake, croquet lawn, barbecue area, Lakeside BBQ, pony trekking, animal feeding area, trampline, bouncy castle and garden games, car parking and plenty of room for the children to play.

Guests wishing to participate in our pony trekking please make a note of this at the time of booking, alternatively please telephone us on 01503 240663 or email so we can accommodate your needs. This will avoid dissapointment if we are fully booked when you arrive.

Roaming the grounds we have several peacocks some of ours and others from accross the valley as they are free to roam the nearby area as they please.

We also have a free car park on site, which guests are welcome to use at their own risk.

There are nearby beaches for everybody some small and edged with rock pools, others just long curves of pristine sand and pounding surf. For a good family beach with traditional seaside activities where you can hire a boat or enjoy a cream tea, Looe, as well as Seaton & Downderry provide a perfect setting
