Very nice hotel. Room was clean, simple and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Staff was helpful and courteous. Some renovations were being done in the building but, for me, it was not an issue. Although I knew this building did not have a lift and was hoping to get a room on a lower floor, I did end up on the top floor. Not the hotel's fault at all. It really wasn't a problem, just once down in the morning and once up at night was my solution. Read less

Due to renovations being done, room was upgraded from the single I had booked to a triple. I had hoped to get a room on a lower floor but ended up on the top floor, which ended up to be OK for me.

Stayed here before in 2008, not up to the same standard but far from terrible. In the basement space there was an old mattress, TV and some general rubbish which didn't give a good first impression. Room was OK but couple of cracked tiles and grouting needs to be renewed. Oven didn't work but as owner didn't live there it was difficult to highlight.
Overall I really say 3.5 but it seems to be heading more towards 3 than 4, if not careful. Read less
