A light, airy entry hall sets the tone. Here you will find two bedrooms, one spacious double/twin room with its own ensuite featuring a modern shower and WC and the other a cosy single. Take the staircase up a level and you'll discover the next two bedrooms, another spacious double/twin and the second single both with storage space and big windows that let in plenty of light. This floor also houses the property's main bathroom featuring new decoration and a bath with a shower over. On the top floor you'll find the main living area, a really generous 8.6m x 4m open plan living room/kitchen/diner where you and your guests can relax and unwind, eat and drink and enjoy each other's company in a modern, well equipped and comfortable space that's designed for socialising.

Whether you're planning to bring the family or are visiting as a group of professional friends, let us know the number of double and single beds you need in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your requirements. As your hosts, we're delighted to grant you full and exclusive use of the whole house and two car parking spaces for the duration of your stay. Please be aware that this is a three-storey property in which the main lounge area is on the top floor, accessed via the staircase. If you're bringing a car to Carlisle, you'll be pleased to note that parking is available right outside the property.

Carlisle nestles on the northern tip of the stunning Lake District in the north west of England. The Sawmills is conveniently located within the city, with all the local shops, restaurants and cafés within easy reach. If history is more your thing, then Carlisle Castle and Hadrian's Wall are both just a short distance away, while a little further afield over the border with Scotland is the famous Gretna Green.
