Countisbury Lodge is a large, characterful house offering a couple of B&B rooms. If you're looking for a personal touch and peace and quiet then this is the place for you. The B&B rooms are available on a daily basis so stay for as long as you like.

Two self catering properties are also available - "Treetops Cottage" sleeps 3 and "Seaview Apartment" sleeps 2, ideal for a couple or small family. Treetops has a double and single bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a lounge/dining room with separate kitchen downstairs whilst Seaview provides a double bedroom with ensuite and a lounge with kitchenette all on one level. Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday during the summer months with short breaks available at other times - ring for details.

Both properties and the B&B rooms offer parking and amazing views high above Lynmouth, but only a short walk to the amenities. They are an excellent base to explore Exmoor National Park and to walk the North Devon and Somerset coast path with glorious walks available direct from the property along the West Lyn River to Watersmeet as well as Countisbury Hill, Lynton and the Valley of the Rocks.

Lynmouth is an unspoilt village situated on the north Devon coast within the Exmoor National Park, noted for it's natural beauty and unspoilt landscape. This is the perfect place to go up onto the moor and catch glimpses of the wild Exmoor ponies and explore Devon and North Somerset.

The Victorians named the area "Little Switzerland" which is an excellent description. Lynmouth and Lynton are linked by the unique water powered cliff railway, another place to admire the beautiful views. Leaving the shops, tearooms and cafes of Lynton behind, you will find the Valley of Rocks, home of the wild but docile goats. There is a good selection of eating places in both villages and further afield.

Check-in is normally from 4pm, but we can can cater for early and late arrivals.
