everything about the appartment was exactly as described, if not so much better than we expected, fully equipped kitchen, two lovely bedrooms,1 en-suite, really quiet area, but plenty of amenities.

I was originally booked into a one-bed apartment but on arrival was informed the accommodation had no hot water so I was instantly upgraded to a 2-bed apartment in a converted historic hotel. Apart from the proximity to a goods train line that was a little noisy, the rooms & the building were absolutely fantastic, with plenty of room & excellent facilities. Read less

Southampton is a fantastic compact city where you can explore the heritage quite easily on foot. Southampton is earmarked for some huge regeneration projects over the next twenty years and will be a fantastic place to work and live.
Whether you want to visit one of the best UK Art Galleries outside of London or catch a block busting musical such as “We will Rock You” or “Grease”, Southampton is the place to be. Southampton is home to some of the region’s best concerts halls and music venues and boasts 3 outstanding art galleries and 2 magnificent theatres. We also have an amazing football stadium at St Mary’s, where Nigel Adkins ( current manager ) has and is doing a tremendous job with our local team, the Saints !!!
Southampton is steeped in Maritime history and you can explore the “Titanic” story or the Jane Austen Trail quite easily on foot.
There has been huge investment (millions) and effort in refurbishing the QE2 Mile which links London Road to the Waterfront. This has led to new bars and restaurants opening in this side of the city.
Southampton is the World Cruise Capital of northern Europe and has World Class Docking !!
