The perfect South Wales valley retreat. Blaencwm is a small, traditional village, hidden away up a valley at the head of the Rhondda Fawr river. Access to fabulous walks, waterfalls and cycle paths are at the end of the street, three doors away.

Hendrewen Cottage is a lovely, mid-terrace cottage with spacious rooms throughout and picturesque views. The large sitting room with dining area is a perfect place to relax after walking or cycling through scenic forests and over fantastic mountains. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x 3/4 size double and one single bedroom. The good sized bathroom is also upstairs and comprises a large bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. The fully equipped fitted kitchen has all the necessary amenities and there is also a separate utility room, which can be used for storing bicycles. A lane at the rear of the property gives access to the utility room and small enclosed, paved garden, with fabulous views of the hills in all directions
Amenities include full gas central heating, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, TV with Sky and internet access. Bed linen and towels included. The Hendrewen pub is 3 minutes walk away and there is a children’s play area at the other end of the street. Ample roadside parking. Very regular bus service to the valleys, bus stop 2 minutes walk. Sorry, no animals and no smoking .

3miles away is the Parc and Dare Theatre in Treorchy and the Pontypridd Heritage Park, while the fabulous Porth-yr-ogof caves, near Ystradfellte, are only a 30 minute drive away and the Dan-yr-ogof caves a further 15 minutes. Within walking distance are the breathtaking views from the top of Craig y Llyn over the Brecon Beacons, Fforest Fawr and the Black Mountains, which will encourage anyone to walk or cycle at least some of the huge selection of paths in this stunning location.
Cardiff is 24 miles away and Swansea 34 miles.
