The Palm Court Hotel is situated on the Eastern Esplanade, the main seafront road from Margate to Broadstairs, between Godwin Road and Harold Road. The Hotel overlooks the beautiful Oval Garden of the Queens Promenade.
As a result, the hotel enjoys good clear sea views across the Queens Promenade.
Margate’s beach however, is still an impressive stretch of golden sand with donkey rides, bouncy castles and boating pool, making this a very popular place for families with young children. Away from the water both the Old Town and the Market Place are worth a look whilst the town centre has all the shops, pubs and restaurants you would expect. Equally by night Margate certainly knows how to enjoy itself with plenty of theatres, bars and nightclubs to choose from.
The Leisure Suite, at the rear of the reception, is highly recommended with whirlpool bath, sauna, hot tub and solarium.
The Palm Court Hotel is a 3 star hotel, graded by the English Tourism Council.
There is ample free parking in front of and around the Hotel. Limited private parking is also available.
