Quiet location. Plenty of space. Friendly people. We didn't feel as though we were intruding. Flexible arrival times.

Sorry about the tea and coffee Mary, you only have to ask and we can provide you with all you need, we don't put it in the rooms as we have had the furniture marked by a boiling kettle, and ring marks made by hot cups. But are happy to provide the necessary ingredient's when asked.

We really could not have asked for more from our stay at Taylard House. The only regret we had was that it wasn't for longer. Luxurious but comfortable surroundings, beautiful country location that was very peaceful, and hosts that could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and friendly, making this one of the nicest bed and breakfast experiences we've had. Breakfast was probably the best we'd had anywhere - served very hot and cooked to perfection. Thanks Sue. Read less

We are a small B&B, and try not to spoil the house by adding locks to the old doors, luckily our guests respect our home as we respect our guests. If guests lost the keys we would have to break into our own home ! Guests have their own back door keys, so there should not be a problem.
