The room was tastefully decorated, very spacious and private, with its own seating area with TV and a lovely ensuite. The approach was lovely in a secluded part of the Newbury countryside.

**The Hayloft is rather 'tucked' away on Grange Farm - we strongly recommend that you use our detailed directions at the end of the web site. Some SatNavs will not find us - Garmin systems have taken guests well out of their way. Google maps show the correct position, just type 'Hayloft B&B RG14 2TF'.**

The Newbury area offers great days out for all the family to enjoy. Feel history brought alive Highclere Castle of Downton Abbey fame, Shaw house and Basildon Park. Have a thrilling day out at the Newbury Races. Be entertained at one of three theatres in and around the town or watch the latest movies at the seven screen cinema in the town centre.

The area offers superb fishing on the River Kennet, inspiring walks across the Berkshire Downs or relaxing trips on the Kennet and Avon Canal. At no cost at all you can explore Donnington Castle, Greenham Common and Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre.
