Stayed over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The room I had booked was tiny and the tv didn't work. After much messing about and the claim that the place was fully booked (I didn't see another person there the whole 2 days) I was moved. Service was awful(except the girl behind the bar). The lack of a breakfast menu was poor, place closed up by 6pm on the Sunday and unable to get a drink or meal and I felt uncomfortable & embarrassed the whole time I was here. Over priced for what it is. Read less

Upon arrival, we could not find a reception area so went into main pub and enquired at the bar as to check in. The bar maid said hang and was gone for about five minutes and just left us hanging about. We were eventually shown to our room and were just handed a key with no explantion as to an evening meal or when breakfast was to be served.The TV was not working in our room and the service at breakfast was very poor and inpersonal. All in all we will not be going back. Much better B & B's around Read less

You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you are shown to your room, it’s not something you would expect to find off the beaten path. State of the art designs, with attention to every detail including wireless Internet access and LCD plasma television screens. Please Note: We are closed between the hours of 3pm and 6pm Monday thru Friday, and not open on a Sunday evening. CHECK IN ON A SUNDAY IS Before 3pm As the New Inn is Closed Sunday Evenings.
