The county town of Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury is a bustling market town located just north of the Chiltern Hills in the rich agricultural area known as the Vale of Aylesbury. Perhaps best known for producing the ‘tastiest’ duck in the 19th century, the town offers both the history and heritage of its old quarter as well as the modern shopping centres and nightlife of a contemporary town.
How to Find Us
Station(approx 0.5 miles)
Exit Aylesbury train station and turn RIGHT onto Friarage Rd. At the roundabout (where you will see the new Aylesbury Waterside Theatre) turn RIGHT onto Walton Street. When you get to the traffic lights at the gyratory, (the Bricklayers Arms Pub is on the left, and the Aristocrat Pub is on your right) turn LEFT onto Walton Road. We are just past the Blue Bengal Indian restaurant, on the LEFT hand side , behind black electric gates.
M25(approx 21 miles)
Leave the M25 at junction 20 signed Aylesbury A41. Follow the road for 18 miles, at the round about turn right & continue on A41. At the next roundabout go straight, double roundabout straight over again. The next roundabout (you will see a large Tesco on right side, turn left onto Walton Road. Go past The Millwright's Arms Pub and Ardenwood is located a bit further up, on the right . We are set back from the road , behind black gates. There is an A-frame sign outside with "Ardenwood B&B" .
