A very popular B&B set in a large detached Victorian property dating back to 1880 and with half an acre of established gardens and plum orchards. We are located in Rectory Road Bluntisham some 3 miles east of St.Ives on the A1123, quite easily accessible from the A14, M11 and the A1 (M) if you are travelling by road; (just pop PE28 3LN into your “sat nav” to make it easier). We are next door to the Prince of Wales pub where Sam and Mark run a typical village set up very useful for guests who fancy a quick “pint” or something to eat.

We have four letting rooms all of which have either en-suite or private bathroom and we currently enjoy a 4 star rating from Visit England. Famed for our breakfasts (eggs provided by our own flock of chickens) we use locally sourced products and a lot is homemade (bread, jams, preserves, even our own yoghurt made by Kay). Please look at our menu offerings to whet your appetite.

This area is becoming popular as the RSPB has developed with Hanson, a wetland wild life area utilising the lakes created by the excavating of sand and ballast. There is an abundance of birds and other wildlife which is well worth a visit. Bluntisham also has close ties to the authoress Dorothy L Sayers who lived opposite us at one time.
In East Anglia and the Fens, there are a great deal of activities to participate in, and places to. Apart from the recently opened section of the RSPB Wetland Trust area, within a three mile radius, there is golf, sailing, walking (the Ouse Valley Way), fishing, canoeing, river boat hire, and local sports centre for swimming etc. Further afield there are many ancient monuments, stately homes, wildlife parks and a host of other things to visit. Cambridge, itself, with its connection with the famous University, is a must to look around and the open top bus tour is an absolute essential.

Please come and visit us for that special occasion, business trip, or if you are visiting friends
