Higher Huxley Hall is just what a good country B&B should be. The house is a well maintained, fascinating, old property with a large interesting garden. The very comfortable room was large with delicious homemade shortbread. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well served and prepared and our hosts were friendly and very helpful and sensitive to our needs. We would happily come back. Read less

"Relaxing escape"
We enjoyed a relaxing night's stay at Higher Huxley Hall prior to visiting some friends in Chester. Room was very clean and neatly presented. I enjoyed snuggling up in a fluffy bathrobe after my bath and enjoyed tea in a china cup and homemade shortbread. Breakfast was nicely presented and I couldn't finish my cooked breakfast. The rhubarb from the garden was delicious. Read less
