Fabulous food (if you stay on a Saturday night try the 5 course dinner - substantial appetite required!) , large comfy bed, deep bath with lashings of hot water.

Penmachno's isolated location to the small but busy tourist town of Betws Y Coed was great. Advice given us by Lauraine & Simon allowed us to see more of Snowdonia in what little time we had there.
Dislikes:
Yes! Our stay there was not long enough :)
Response from Penmachno Hall:
Thank you so much for your fabulous review. So glad to hear you enjoyed the "adventurous" route out of the end of the Machno valley. As you say, stunning views, if somewhat hairy especially if you meet someone coming the other way.!

Easy access to places (e.g. Bodnant Gardens) that we last visited about 35 years ago.
Dislikes:
Nothing
Response from Penmachno Hall:
Hi Peter, thank you for your review, and for mentioning Bodnant Gardens, which is somewhere we highly recommend, especially at this time of year when their world famous Laburnum Arch is "doing it's thing!" It would be interesting to hear how Bodnant today compares to Bodnant of 35 years ago.
