Pleasant, but only after a whole day there did we find the guest kitchen and comfy sitting room. We weren't shown around the complex on arrival, just to our room, the bar closed at 5.00 I think and I had to knock to borrow a wine glass. We thought that our smallish room was all we had to relax in. Weather was lovely so we did find a table to sit outside near to our room to enjoy If we visit again would definitely make more use of the kitchen and sitting room. Read less

Breakfast very good though we had to wait a while both mornings. All the staff were very friendly and efficient and our room was cleaned beautifully. The view is lovely.
Dislikes:
The restaurant closed on Sunday 6th May until Wednesday 9th and we had to find alternative dining - fortunately we knew of the the Old Stag in Llangernyw which was excellent.

Located 4 minutes drive from the A55/J19 and set in the heart of the Conwy valley is the 18th century Bodnant Farm House B&B. It's situated within the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre and offers a truly unique experience, ideal for foodies and wine lovers.

Each of the 5 beautifully appointed rooms include modern facilities; en-suite bathrooms with showers, luxury toiletries, hair dryer, flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facility with Bodnant short bread biscuits, free Wi-Fi, bottled mineral water and in room controlled heating.

Within the farm house is a reception area, sitting room, small kitchen area that is fully equipped with microwave, hob, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and sink.

A full Welsh locally-sourced breakfast is served in the tearoom (from 8.30am-10am) which is definitely the best way to start your day. All the bread is made in the on-site bakery that morning, the butter is from the on-site dairy, the meat is from the Bodnant butchery, the eggs from a local farm!

Dining is available from the Hayloft restaurant and bar (which has a log fire), which is a wonderfully restored hay barn. All meals are made to order and use locally sourced ingredients as well as butter, ice cream and cheese from the dairy, bread from the bakery. Please see our website for opening times.

At the Bodnant Welsh food centre there is also a wine cellar offering a huge selection of fine wines to purchase, cookery school that offers a wide range of cookery experiences to suit all levels, farm shop with a bakery, deli, butchery and a shop full of local Welsh produce.
