Superb location, the staff were extremely friendly. We could not fault the accommodation and facilities were excellent with some nice touches, breakfasts were home cooked and also excellent.

Hi Dawn, Sorry about the shower situation. The water temp takes a few seconds to adjust whilst it makes it's way thru the building, but there should always be plenty of hot water for everyone, so we are looking into it our end. Our plumber has been notified. Thanks for letting us know. Sorry we didn't know about it at the time. Good luck with your charity ride. We will try and sort out some sunshine!!

The Edgcumbe is great beachside accomodaion, run by a young (ish!) and friendly family. The Edgcumbe is tastefully furnished in a "Boutique Seaside Chic" style to a high standard, with a relaxed cafe style bar area with sofas and arm chairs and wonderful south facing conservatory with a contemporary style and a outdoor patio area. All great places to enjoy a tasy local beverage! We have little table top quizzes dotted around and an array of books and board games.
We have a drying room for wet suites and some storage for Surfboards and bikes. We also have quite a collection of beach bits, so if you need chairs, windbreaks, boogyboard or buckets and spade, just ask!
With panoramic views over Summerleaze Beach, Hills & Downs, and valley of the river Neet we are an ideal base to discover Bude, and North Cornwall. Surrounded by beautiful sandy surf beaches like Summerleaze and Crocklets and the cliffs which form part of the Cornish Coastal Path, The Edgcumbe realy is in an exceptional location.
Bude is a small coastal town providing local produce and wares. The town has many essential modern amenities and popular surf shops but has managed to remain a peaceful and charming historic seaside town.
We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets except guide dogs. (Although if you wih you can walk our Springer, Hector the Hound!) Check-In time: 1400 and Check-Out time: 1030.
We are flexible, so please call if you need to arrange something different and we will try to accommodate you.
We have been members of CoaST, Cornwall sustainable tourism project and Future Footprints in the past to help us keep the South West Special. Through these organisations we have learned and worked hard to become a more environmentally friendly business and help visitors to be more aware of environment around them and how they can help too!We currently recycle all cans, plastic bottles, paper, card and glass. We use energy efficient light bulbs throughout and actively turn off lights and other electircal equipment when not needed. The majority of our cleaning materials are eco friendly. We contiunally try to support and use our local small business, to purchase most of our food produce and other products to help with sustainable tourism and minimise packaging and milage. Our marketing printed materials such as brochures and headed paper are on recyled paper. We try as hard as we can be as environmenentally conciencious within our own limited restriction
