"Lovely B&B, beautiful views"
We headed to Looe for a short break. Admittedly we were extremely lucky with the weather, it was quite warm and beautifully sunny, but I'm sure we would have loved it no matter what. Sharon the landlady was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the view from the room looked right out over the sea, stunning. The sunrise was beautiful. Seaview was a fair walk from the quay/shops and parking was quite expensive but worth every penny. well worth a stay. Read less

Distance from town but don't let that stop you from going, it's a lovely B&B

Likes:
Breakfast choice was great with a large portion served. The view was brilliant through the large windows.Host was very accommodating and welcoming.
Dislikes:
Parking was not great but not the fault of the host who did offer the front of the house when free. Breakfast time was limiting, would have liked to have been able to have breakfast earlier.

Seaview enjoys panoramic views across Looe Bay from Rame Head to Looe Island. Situated a very short distance from Hannafore beach and the South West coast path (two minute walk) in a quiet, costal location, in the picturesque fishing village of Looe. Seaview has a real beach house feel and is a small, local family run B&B offering a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Hannafore is a quiet, rather exclusive part of West Looe, many visitors never find the winding, waterside road that leads out to us. The beach and sea wall run the length of Hannafore, with cafes, tennis courts, bowling and putting green behind. Looe Island is situated just off the beach and can be reached by boat or paddled to twice a year on the equinox ( very low tides ) The coastal footpath continues on from Hannafore to Talland Bay with its rugged, natural beauty and history of smuggling.

Looe is fantastic for both adults and children alike as it has two very different beaches, one wide and sandy the other shingley with fascinating little rock pools perfect for exploring.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink, lots with outside seating areas over looking the local coastal town. At the Harbour which is only 10 minutes walk away, you can find fishing and boating trips, also a landing craft which takes visitors to Looe Island for a 2 hour stay to discover the Island’s Nature Reserve.

The South Cornish coastline is more gentle than the rugged Northern shore, with flowering gorse creating a vivid yellow carpet over the land in early spring. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftop on its 600 mile journey from Poole to Minehead. This stretch to coast is also a popular boating centre, with Porthallow, Fowey, and Looe harbours being crowded with sailing craft in the summer months.
