"Good to go back again - with absolute confidence"
Stayed here three years ago, and was not disappointed then. Needed to make a quick booking again this time, immediately went to the Penrose, Lostwithiel in search of a room at short notice, and got the last (and probably the best) one! Great hosts, nice outlook, convenient position, sufficient parking. I will go back again, and not leave it so long next time! Thank you. Read less

Just about everything. It is particularly nice that a B&B sets aside a small room as a lounge for its guests, rather than them having to sit in the bedroom for rest/relaxation.

"Great breakfast"
We stayed three nights because we were visiting a friend in the area. The location was very convenient for getting around. We were given good information about resources in Lostwithiel and there were was lots of maps etc. available which we found very useful. The room was spacious and clean. The beds comfortable and the shower room very convenient.
I had overlooked the checking in time on the information but, although we arrive at about 1.30. we were made very welcome. Read less
