The Tremont offers high quality bed and breakfast at affordable prices; we pride ourselves on our friendliness, cleanliness, and very good breakfasts! The Tremont is set in a tree lined road just 200 metres from the famous Penzance promenade, 10 minutes stroll from the town centre and a stepping stone to so much more. We want to help you to enjoy your stay in West Penwith, so feel free to ask us about any activities that are centred here. Walkers and Cyclists are welcome; a secure garage is available for bike storage. We are 4 star with ETB, and Gold award with GTBS.
Penzance is situated on Mounts Bay, close too the unique St Michaels Mount and the picturesque village of Mousehole. It is an ideal base to visit the many attractions in West Penwith, including the Minack theatre, Lands End and the golden beaches of Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. Explore its history from the ancient standing stones to the important mining heritage. Visit the many art galleries in the area and enjoy some of the finest Cornish cuisine in the local restaurants and pubs.
Check in time is normally after 4 pm, earlier times set by prior arrangement. Please Note: Non-smoking, on road parking, children welcome, Check-in time: 16:00 , Check-out time: 10:00. Please note there is a minimum of 2 nights stay from 1 April to 31 October.
At the Tremont we appreciate there is an impact on whatever we do and wherever we go. The business is a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme to show our commitment to sustainable tourism.
• Reduce, reuse, recycle. Waste is recycled when approriate, there is a recycling facility on the first floor for guests to use as required.
• Buy local. As much food is sourced or bought at local shops or the Farmers Market, for example we use Vivian Olds butchers, St Just, for local bacon, sausages and eggs.
• Stay local. We encourage guests to stay local. There is so much to see and do in and around Penzance and public transport links are very good.
• Energy. Low energy light bulbs, TVs not left on standby are just some of the ways to reduce energy.
• Chemicals. Where possible cleaning products are environmentaly safe, including the guest soap and shower gels.
