I was there in off season a bit so absolute bargain for the price. Nice to stay somewhere occasionally where expectations are surpassed by a mile.

"Homey Holiday Stay"
My partner and I were looking to get away from busy London, so we booked two nights stay at a lovely looking BnB in Cornwall. It did not disappoint. We stayed in the Green Room. Spacious and beautiful, it was nice to retreat to the room after our full days of exploring. We visited Mevagissey, Charlestown, The Eden Project, the St. Austell Brewery, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. All were nice visits. Read less

Nikki made us feel welcome and gave us friendly insights of a local. We enjoyed talking to her and she was very accommodating. The breakfast was filling and nice quality.
Dislikes:
My partner had a disappointing meal at Wreckers- their "famous" fish and chips (although mine was fantastic- the seafood medley special).

Welcome to Arches, originally part of an old Victorian boys school built in the early 1900's, which has been renovated into a friendly & homeley Bed & Breakfast.

Arches has been recently refurbished and offers large spacious ensuite accommodation featuring a luxurious king-size four poster bed with rural views overlooking the via duct and woodland area. The Green Room has a grand, luxurious four poster bed and the Red Room has great views overlooking the Brunel via duct bridge and the woodland area. Most rooms are large and spacious with ensuite. Guests also have the use of our conservatory and patio.

The property is just a 10 minute walk from the town centre with public houses, a cinema and a bowling alley. It is also only 7 minutes to the Waterwheel Restaurant. The Eden Project & The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both just a few miles from our property. Charlestown, with its picturesque harbour home to the tall galleon ships which is often used in film sets, is also only a couple of miles away. We also recommend a visit to Mevagissey or Fowey. These are approx 7/8 miles and are quaint fishing villages.

Arches is located on the main new cycle route to Eden and can supply storage space for bikes. We have a minimum 2 nights stay all year round but also have fantastic special offers throughout the year.
