"Fantastic!"
I stayed here for one night in the 'Red Room' with my 3yr old little boy. The beds were so comfortable and very clean, my little boy was very excited to stay here and had no trouble falling to sleep! Breakfast was fantastic! My little boy liked it so much he even started eating mine. The option for a family room is great as not many B&B's offer this and I will use this if I return with my other children. Nikki is a lovely hard working host and nothing is too much trouble! Will be visiting again! Read less

Response from The Arches B&B:
Thank you so much Leanne for taking the time & trouble to do a very kind review. It was a pleasure having you stay. It is so impotant to me that people see this as a "home from home" and not a hotel. If you & your son have felt at home then I have done my job right!

We look forward to seeing you & your family again! :o)

"a lovely time"
Short stay of two nights in Red Room. Made to feel very welcome on arrival with choice of cream tea, or walnut cake, which I have to say was the biggest I've ever seen, and tasted as good as it looked. This set the mode of the stay. Our host, Nikki, was very friendly, full of useful advice and information, and provided lovely breakfasts as well. The time there just flew by, and our short stay came to an end all too soon. Would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the Arches to all. Read less

Welcome to Arches, originally part of an old Victorian boys school built in the early 1900's, which has been renovated into a friendly & homeley Bed & Breakfast.

Arches has been recently refurbished and offers large spacious ensuite accommodation featuring a luxurious king-size four poster bed with rural views overlooking the via duct and woodland area. The Green Room has a grand, luxurious four poster bed and the Red Room has great views overlooking the Brunel via duct bridge and the woodland area. Most rooms are large and spacious with ensuite. Guests also have the use of our conservatory and patio.

The property is just a 10 minute walk from the town centre with public houses, a cinema and a bowling alley. It is also only 7 minutes to the Waterwheel Restaurant. The Eden Project & The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both just a few miles from our property. Charlestown, with its picturesque harbour home to the tall galleon ships which is often used in film sets, is also only a couple of miles away. We also recommend a visit to Mevagissey or Fowey. These are approx 7/8 miles and are quaint fishing villages.

Arches is located on the main new cycle route to Eden and can supply storage space for bikes. We have a minimum 2 nights stay all year round but also have fantastic special offers throughout the year.
