2 nights as a base for exploring the north east coast. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunny weather but had we needed there is a very comfortable guest sitting room.
Our double room, with ensuite bath and shower, had patio doors out onto a terrace which leads to garden and river. You do have to be prepared to drive for your evening meal and book popular restaurants ahead. Read less
