A Warm welcome awaits you from the present owners of the Aardvark located in the Lake District: RELAX in modern comfortable surroundings At: Aardark we want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. Aardvark is a wonderful place from which to explore the Lake District. Somewher to call home while you are here.

SLEEP and wake up refreshed: We have two en-suite double rooms and a twin room with private facilities. All rooms have flat screen, wall mounted television, hairdryer and hospitality tray. All rooms have views to the fells and village.

ENJOY fresh locally sourced produce: Breakfast is served in our bright morning room from 8.0am, earlier on request. This can include any of the following: fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit salads, bio yoghurt, free range eggs, cumberland sausage, artisan black pudding, potato cakes, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, toast and preserves, with unlimited teas, infusions and coffee.

Full vegetarian breakfast always available, can include any of the above but with vegetarian sausage and veggie breakfast slice. With notice we can cater for any special dietary needs. Wherever possible our breakfast ingredients are free range, organic and locally sourced.

WANDER .. tour the Lakes or stay in Ambleside: Ambleside is a village in the heart of the Lakes, an ideal place to explore the district from. Aardvark is only a short walk from lake Windermere and the local fells. Kerry comes from Ambleside so if you want to know where to walk swim or cycle, or eat out and drink she will be able to advise you or you can just wander round the shops cafes, pubs and restaurants and discover your own Ambleside

ACTIVITIES from a stroll to life on the edge: Ambleside is a centre for all outdoor activities from the extreme to the sedate. There is something to suit all age ranges and abilities.
