"A pleasant three-night stay close to Buxton"
We were performing in the Buxton Fringe festival and needed a place nearby for B&B, which wasn't too expensive. This was great - just 6 miles south of Buxton, in a pretty village. Our en suite double room was in the annexe, with breakfast across the road in the pub. We had to check in late, but there was no problem with this. Breakfast was nicely cooked. Read less
Likes:
Comfortable en suite room on the ground floor; plenty of storage and reasonably spacious. Excellent shower. Hosts were flexible in kindly giving us an early breakfast. Pretty quiet at night.
Dislikes:
Shower cubicle and wall next to the loo were a bit grubby.
