"beautiful location, but tricky in the snow"
We had a terrific night at Rushop Hall. The room was comfortable and very cosy, and the location is fantastic for anyone walking in the Peak District. The owners were very accommodating, and went out of their way to be helpful and provide dinner on very short notice. Beware - unless you have a 4x4 you will struggle to get in or out of the property in the snow; access is via a private road that is relatively steep and is not salted / gritted. There is parking in a lay-by on the main road. Read less

Accommodation was very peaceful, lovely countryside. The room was big and comfortable and the use of a sitting room was an added treat. We had an evening meal in the evening which was perfect.

The food was amazing! Friendly and helpful owners.

The rooms and the dining hall are stylish and really complement the character of the building.
Dislikes:
Being November I arrived in the dark. There were almost no exterior lights. I thought I'd got the wrong place! Nearly ended up on my face going down the steps toward the front door.
