We were snowed in on the Saturday evening and, although we hadn't requested supper, they provided a delicious three course meal with wine and a log burning stove. Good company with other guests too.
Dislikes:
Nothing at all.
Response from Rushop Hall:
Hello Sally, many thanks for your review - it was very much appreciated. We are both very happy that you had such a nice time and it was our pleasure to sort out the evening meal for you. Thank you for visiting us again and we hope to see you again some day soon.

"Excellent"
We arrived on Friday early evening and were greeted by Jan and Neil's daughter who showed us to our room (the Pepperpot Cottage). The fire place was already lit for us and a plate with two pieces of baking was left on the bench which I perceived as a very nice touch.
The breakfast was superb, not only from the choices offered but also from the quality of the produce. The fresh fruit platter, the homemade jams and compotes, and the free range eggs. Jan and Neil provide an excellent service. Read less

Relaxed and friendly hosts who were very hospitable and keen to share local information. Breakfasts were fabulous. Evening dinner was thoroughly enjoyable with some lovely wines.
Dislikes:
We had a lovely room and en suite shower, but found the bed gave us both a horrible backache, and the pillows were rather flat and lacking in comfort.
Response from Rushop Hall:
We have been at Rushop Hall for 13 years. The bed that the guest used is less than 18 months old and is very comfortable. There is a quilted cotton matress protector on the bed which adds to the sleep quality. We have been praised for the quality of our (16) beds many times over the years and this is the very first time that anyone has criticised one of them. I wonder whether their horrible backache was caused by the lengthy hill walk that they undertook, having to return by taxi.
