Hope is beautiful. Stanage Edge is great. The B&B we ended up in was really friendly.
Dislikes:
The owner was unhelpful when I asked about how to apply for a refund. He sent me a five word email with a strangely aggressive use of capital letters - 'Contact with WHO you booked'.

This recently converted barn lies within its own 4.1/2 acre ground in the peaceful rural hamlet of Aston which is surrounded by the dramatic hill scenery of Derbyshire’s Peak National Park for which this area is justly famous.

The property forms an ideal base for walking and visiting many beauty spots and places of interest including Chatsworth House and Gardens, Haddon Hall, the plague village of Eyam, the old market town of Bakewell and the Blue John Caves of Castleton, with easy access to the Pennine Way and Kinder Scout.

Local activities include hang gliding, rock climbing, open air swimming pool, golf courses, gliding, walking, fishing, pot holing and mountain biking around the Dams and Hills.

The B & B accommodation consists of two en-suite bedrooms, one familly room and one twin / triple room of single beds, all having colour TV and coffee and tea making facilities. In addition there is ample car parking, and pets, ponies and horses can be accommodated by arrangement.
