From the moment I stepped in to the house I was greated by the owner who was a very warmand friendly lady . She was so welcoming . The views were something else and so peaceful after a hard days work it was a joy to go back there to be greeted by a friendly face . The beds are really comfy so much so I had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time .Also I was recommended to go to local pub the swans nest and that was fab . I will definately be going back to stay there again. Read less

The village of Exminster with good facilities is just 1 mile away. The beautiful Cathedral and University city of Exeter. Powderham Castle, the historic home of the Earl of Devon, National Trust Properties, The beaches of Dawlish, Teignmouth, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. The estuary town of Topsham is a magnet for boating enthusiasts and bird watchers the wilds of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Haldon Forest with its nature trails, walks and view points for birds of prey. The racecourses of Exeter and Newton Abbot Sea fishing from Exmouth. The local golf course in Exminster (which is 1 mile away).
There is an excellent choice of locally sourced food served at the village pubs, many within walking distance or at Kenton, Exeter and Topsham catering for all tastes and budgets
