Booking late on the Friday night for the Saturday I was pleased this B&B, situated so close to the city centre was available. Secured a discount by booking online. Arrived in Exeter early on the Saturday and wanted to see if parking was available. On arrival the host kindly allowed us to park even though we were 3 hours early for checking in time. As the room was already clean we were kindly allowed to check in at that time. Very much appreciated the friendly welcome. Read less

Location to city centre was the highlight. The B&B sits on a main road but the doubleglazing and thick curtains meant we hardly heard any noise at all. Particularly appreciated the friendly host.
Dislikes:
Can't say I disliked our stay. What I would mention is, and this perhaps a generational thing, but the room furnishings were a little 'twee', slightly outdated and stuck in the past.

Explore Devon and Cornwall from our friendly Edwardian home in Exeter near medieval city walls, Cathedral, and some of the best restaurants. Whether visiting Exeter on business, visiting relatives, or exploring the area you are sure to be impressed.
All of the thirteen bedrooms are en-suite. Every room has been individually decorated and furnished with every attention to detail. Original period furnishings compliment the new remote control LCD digital flat screen televisions, double glazing, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities. Herbal teas are available on request. Now available is WiFi access in all areas of the Guest House including all bedrooms.
Enjoy a freshly prepared full English, vegetarian, or continental breakfast in the breakfast room. We do not serve evening meals, but there are an abundance of excellent eating places nearby which we can advise and recommend.
