"Very nice accommodation in a pitoresque location with very gentle hosts."
I was looking for accommodation during a busy period namely the start of the freshers week in Uni of Exeter. Unfortunately, everything in the city at a fair price had been booked and Yeos Farm was a good choice. I enjoyed the landscape and tasty breakfast. The roads are very narrow and for me, as an continental driver, they seemed even narrower. Eventually, good value for the money. I wish I had more time to walk around and enjoy the nature. Read less

Four star accredited Yeos farmhouse is a 16th Century Devon longhouse nestling in its own 241 acres, situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by wonderful scenery. The farmhouse is believed to be early 16th Century, with rooms added on during the next 200-300 years. In the roof, some of the timbers are large branches still with the bark on. The farmhouse has been extensively modernised to the highest standards with guests’ own entrance and stairs.

Previously we were a dairy farm but now have built up an extensive beef suckler herd producing quality cattle for the beef market, and are proud to carry the Little Red Tractor logo, as well as Farm Assured certificates ensuring our cattle are kept to a high standard .
The farm was once part of the Haldon Estate, some 12000 acres, belonging to the Palk family.

We have two guest rooms both en suite. The front room has the views up to the Belvadere Castle, a king size bed plus a small single put you up. Digital tv/dvd, hospitality tray, Ipod/clock radio, hair dryer, a small shower/wc/sink bathroom. The back bedroom has a kingsize bed which can be split to a twin with the same facilities as the front bedroom.
Breakfast is cooked to order, with sausages from home produced pigs, eggs from the hens out in front field, bacon from the local butchers called 'Oinkers' and locally purchased tomatoes and mushrooms. Also fresh fruit, cereals, juice, toast and preserves laid out.

This is a great place to explore Devon and Exeter Cathedral City (4 miles). We are ideally located for beautiful Devon beaches and Dartmoor (4 miles) is on our doorstep. Exeter International Airport is about 20 minutes drive away. On site there is a small fishing lake and you are welcome to bring your rod.

On site we have ample free parking available. We welcome walkers and cyclists and can offer wash down and secure storage for bikes. Whatever your reason to visit, we will try to ensure that your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.
