The Woodlands

The Woodlands is a magnificent Victorian residence which has been sympathetically modernised to provide very comfortable 4* guest accomodation without losing its Victorian charm. Set in large landscaped gardens in an elevated position in the Torrs park conservation area, we are in a quiet location but only a short walk from the South West Coast Path , the famous Tunnels Beaches , the historic Harbour and Ilfracombes restaurants and nightlife.
All our bedrooms are furnsihed to a high standard with 5* Egyptian cotton bed linen.We offer a range of accomodation including large deluxe rooms with super king beds, balcony rooms with views over the garden, a twin room and a variety of doubles.Private car parking is available, all rooms are ensuite with free view t.v , wi,fi and generous hospitality trays.
An extensive breakfast menu is served in our elegant dining room.Choose our renowned Woodlands traditional breakfast with local bacon, sausage and free range eggs, or try our locally supplied smoked haddock, or a continental breakfast with croissants and fresh fruit salad.
New for 2012 is our Guest Sitting Room , a charming triple aspect balcony room , newly decorated, carpeted and furnished.
Our glorious gardens are a special feature of Woodlands . Most rooms have garden views and guests can relax on the terraced lawns or stroll through the grounds down to the brook.
