The beautiful medieval village of Lydford, as the description suggests, is of great historic interest & host to the Norman Castle (pictured to the right) & stunning Lydford Gorge which is owned by the National Trust. Lydford is very appealing to cyclists, horse riders & ramblers due to “route 27” for cyclists; Proximity & access to the many wonders of Dartmoor National Park for both riders & ramblers alike to enjoy.
How to Find Us
A30 - Okehampton(approx 7 miles)
Follow the A30 and leave at the Tavistock Junction which is the A386 signposted Lydford Gorge. Foolw the signs turning right into Lydford. We are loacted around 500 yards down the road on the right.
