The Purbeck Hills and surrounding countryside are famous for their beauty and many varied walks, including the Dorset coastal path which is part of the Jurrassic Coastline and now classified as a World Heritage site. The village of Corfe Castle itself is dominated by the castle ruins which provide breathtaking views across to Poole harbour , it also contains the smallest Town Hall in England, a museum, a model village, four pubs and there is a regular steam train journey into Swanage.

Wareham(approx 5 miles)
Take the A351 sign posted to Corfe Castle. When you enter the village turn right into the square and then bear right into West Street. Keep going past the Fox Inn and the car park entrance. Westaway is the 3rd house on the right past the car park exit - opposite Webers Close.
