A fairly large room with all the essentials included. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was nice to have such a large en suite bathroom. A very warm welcome was received from Kate and we had freshly made scones, tea and coffee in the conservatory. Breakfast was delicious and we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation Read less

"Excellent stay in a beautiful house."
Wonderful stay at Healthcare. Nothing was too much trouble and we were left some amazing cake in our room after arriving slightly later than planned. Susan even ran across the road to the pub to get us squeezed in at the last minute. The breakfast was lovely as were our surroundings. Have already recommended to others. The room was very spacious and spotless. Read less

We offer a warm welcome and friendly service, all rooms are en-suite and tastefully refurbished to a very high standard.

Your Aga cooked breakfast will be served in the conservatory where you can enjoy the shade of the grape vine which is reputedly over 70 years old. In warm weather you are welcome to breakfast on the terrace where you will glimpse parts of the informal half acre garden. The garden is a work in progress. The drawing room has big comfy sofas for a relaxing evening, with a log/coal fire in the winter. Heathcote House is the perfect place for exploring the captivating county of Dorset with countryside little changed from the times of author Thomas Hardy.

There is plenty to occupy you whether you want to visit a historic house or garden, walk in some of the most unspoilt countryside through historic landscapes. There are Museums and attractions to suit all interests and the dramatic World Heritage Jurassic coast is within easy reach. All the sporting and leisure activities are in abundance.
