Longham Farm House B&B

Longham Farm House is an 18th Century Grade 2 listed building situated 2 miles from Ferndown. Having been sympathetically refurbished in 2009, the property has new bathrooms and the whole house has many original features thus retaining its great character.
To rear of the property along side 2 listed Granaries is a large gated shingled area with parking for a number of vehicles. Bournemouth International Airport is 10 mins away, we offer the facility for long stay parking and chauffeur services to and from the Airport.
All bedrooms have Freeview, Wi-Fi and tea & coffee making facilities. The Double bedroom is quite small but is en-suite , the family room has a designated bathroom and the single room has access to a shared bathroom.

Breakfast is served in the Georgian dining room which has a high ceiling, marble fireplace and original shuttered windows. Meals can also be served around the large table in the farmhouse kitchen.
The landlady likes to source local suppliers and organic food stuffs wherever possible and will provide for special dietary needs if requested.

Well behaved dogs are welcome for the single and family room only, as are children, however, we do not have cots or high chairs for babies.
There are 2 public houses near-by serving excellent food and local ales. The Kings Arms is 5 min walk south and the Angel Inn is 10 min walk north towards Ferndown. The town itself has a number of restaurants and take-aways together with a large Tesco and Sainsburys.
There are a number of public footpaths and open spaces locally including a lake opposite the house and the river Stour 10 min walk south. The property backs onto Dudsbury Golf Course.

Longham Farm House is ideally situated for excursions to the New Forest, Bournemouth & Poole etc, with the Jurassic coast, Weymouth and its Olympic sailing facilities being approx 40 min drive away. Dorchester, the heart of Thomas Hardy Country is a short drive away.
