The full English breakfast was spot on, absolutely delicious! The B&B is a short walk from the town centre of Swanage so it was easy to walk in to the pubs and restaurants in the evening.

one level bungalow that made my disabled but mobile wife able to get around easily. seeing our breakfast eggs being gathered from the hard working chickens !! breakfast was superb

The people who run the B+B are very friendly and chatty and very helpful with advising us on local knowledge. The beds were really comfortable and we had a great breakfast. Walk into town in 10mins.

Southover is a modern home, with every luxury you could wish for, built in traditional Purbeck stone and located in a semi-rural setting on the edge of a lively seaside town.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast of top-quality local produce, in either the traditional English or continental style, which you can eat in our dining room, or on fine days, on the terrace with views across our pretty garden and open fields to Durlston Country Park. Then choose from the many leisure opportunities which Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck offer. You can choose one of our range of picnics, from a sandwich to a lobster feast to take with you. After a busy day of swimming, walking or sight-seeing, come back to tea and home-baked cakes then relax in your spa bath, or take a long, hot shower, before sampling the great range of pubs and restaurants only ten minutes walk away in the town centre. Or order one of our barbecue packs, with local farm shop sausages or steaks for two, plus charcoal, salad and bread, to cook and eat in our courtyard garden.
The beds have fine Egyptian cotton bedlinen and you will find a pile of fluffy white towels.We even have beach towels on request.
The rooms have flat screen TV, and we have a small library of DVDs at your disposal, plus a range of books, including a good selection of local history and guide books.
Parking outside the house is unlimited and free.
We generate our own solar electricity, and encourage daytime use of electrical appliances. We use eco-friendly cleaning products and serve locally sourced farm produce and home-made food wherever possible.
