The farm was away from it all so no traffic noise etc, but was positioned so we were able to access everywhere we wanted with ease. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

We are just a stone throw away from historic and picturesque Brancepeth Village with it's ancient Castle, Church, Golf Course and Fishing Lakes.

Right on our doorstep we have Durham City with it's ancient Cathedral and Castle and only a short distance from the world famous Beamish Museum, Raby Castle, the Durham Dales and Northumbrian coastline, all for you to explore.

For those shopaholics amongst you we have some of the finest shopping available with Gateshead MetroCentre (the largest indoor shopping complex in Europe) a short drive away. The Cities of Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland (all close by) also have a huge range of ultra-modern indoor and outdoor shopping facilities.
