Our cottage style annex has six large, airy en-suite rooms all on the ground floor. Each room has its own T.V and Tea/Coffee making facilities and access at all times. All the rooms are individual and have a homely atmosphere. We also have two Double rooms situated above our 17th Century Inn. We have Double, Twin and Family rooms with off road parking available. Our restaurant is open both lunchtimes and evenings with the exception of Sunday nights in the winter.

Dislikes:
Noisy sat. night maybe because of football. Woken at 1 ish by noisy male voices & again @ 2ish coming back to rooms on gravel. Smelly bathroom -likely wet carpet from badly fitting shower door.

Shirley, Jo and all their team offer you a warm hand in welcoming you to The Top O the Hill, and will make your stay as pleasant as we possibly can. Our restaurant is open both lunchtimes and evenings (closed Sunday nights in the Winter) both to residents and members of the public and boasts an extensive A la carte menu. We also have a lovely Mediterranean style courtyard adjacent to our restaurant for alfresco dining on those warm summer days. Our bar has a lovely open fire. A beer Garden is situated to the front of the building and we have ample parking to accommodate everyone.
An ideal base for exploring the whole of the area The Top O the Hill is a five minute walk from the historic town of Rye itself and is adjacent to the fascinating Romney Marshes and is surrounded by superb walking country over farmland, woodland and coastal areas and some of the best beaches in the country. Deep sea fishing, sea angling, bathing and water sports, trout fishing, golf and riding within easy reach of the Inn, or a pleasant drive to visit Battle, Bedgebury Pinetum, Bodiam Castle, Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Gardens, Great Dixter and Hastings. Both Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Model Railway and Kent and East Sussex Railway are nearby.
The Top O the Hill is open all year round
