"A unique guesthouse and a hidden gem for art lovers."
Went to Edinburgh to watch some rugby with my 18 year old son. Two comfortable single beds. Shared toilet and shower but next to room so no problems. Only a couple of rooms used when we visited so no issues with shared facilities. Didn't spend to much time in Morita as we had rugby and associated socializing. That's a shame because Morita is an unique guest house. It's also a museum and art gallery with paintings, ceramics, glassware and pottery. You could spend hours checking it all out. Read less

Thank you for a very fine review, with the exception of the Edinburgh Festivals in August its mostly just 2 rooms let and we feel for the B&B its enough to try and keep this way. Thanks again and hope your Rugby visit was fun. John

We stayed at the Morita for 3 nights whilst visiting for the Edinburgh Fringe festival. The B&B is located conveniently a mile or so out of the centre of town, meaning the festival is easy to walk to, but also far away enough to not be impacted by the noise of other festival
Goers. There are plenty of bus links from Mayfield Gardens into town as well should you not feel like walking.

Kozo and John are both great hosts and we will definitely book again when returning to Edinburgh Read less

Kozo and John and wonderful hosts who make their guests feel right at home. They're lovely to chat with and do really try to help you in any way they can.
Dislikes:
The price was a little step for a room and shared bathroom. But again it was the Festival period.
