We called in at midday to collect a key, as before, on our way to visit my son in Lydbrook. Andy and Christine don't hesitate to make us very welcome and we didn't want to disturb them later during the evening. Nothing is too much trouble and it is the little extras like home made muffins that make all the difference. Read less

Everything is spotless, the bed is very comfortable with a lovely duvet,
and even a hotwater bottle if needed. It is a very quiet spot with a pretty garden and a babbling brook running through.

There is nothing not to like about Ferndale House. If I won the lottery I would try to buy it and live there. Lovely clean, warm, peaceful room. I always get a great nights sleep. Excellent service.

"Service with a smile"
Stayed at Ferndale House for a friends wedding, parked up in the drive and it's in a very sweet setting. After a very long and tiring journey, we was greeted by Christine and Andy, both very friendly. Room was light and great size, we even had blueberry muffins on arrival! Had a lovely stream set down the side to watch in the mornings. Breakfast was scrumptious! Which came with a huge and never ending pot of tea! Will happy return in the future : D Read less
