"Perfect location for visiting the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley"
We visited Symonds Yat - breathtaking views, Clearwell Caves - vast underground system, Chepstow and Raglan castles, Tintern Abbey, churches in Newnham, Hewelsfield, Flaxley, driving through the Forest of Dean with the sight of massed bluebells and the scent of wild garlic in our nostrils a joy. The A40 into Wales a revelation, beautiful tranquil scenery and a thoroughly beneficial experience. Read less

"Relaxed with helpful, flexible hosts."
Booked 2 nights originally, then before we came were able to add an extra night with helpful email communications. Stayed night before attending wedding in the area, then stayed for 2 further nights. We were out a lot, but each time we were at the accommodation we had attentive but unintrusive attention from the hosts. Relaxed atmosphere made stay enjoyable. Read less

The helpfulness of the hosts. On the first morning a late late breakfast was laid on. They gladly provided their own pick-up for us late in the evening of the wedding for a very reasonable fee.
