Welcomed with tea and cake.Comfortable room with large bathroom. Own outdoor space to sit and enjoy the quiet location.
Dislikes:
The glass door in to the room would benefit from a curtain to cut down on the light in the mornings.

We were out a lot, but each time we were at the accommodation we had attentive but unintrusive attention from the hosts. Relaxed atmosphere made stay enjoyable. Read less

The helpfulness of the hosts. On the first morning a late late breakfast was laid on. They gladly provided their own pick-up for us late in the evening of the wedding for a very reasonable fee.

We visited Symonds Yat - breathtaking views, Clearwell Caves - vast underground system, Chepstow and Raglan castles, Tintern Abbey, churches in Newnham, Hewelsfield, Flaxley, driving through the Forest of Dean with the sight of massed bluebells and the scent of wild garlic in our nostrils a joy. The A40 into Wales a revelation, beautiful tranquil scenery and a thoroughly beneficial experience. Read less
