Being able to take my dog and to have the space for her to run about without fear of losing her outside the grounds. The alpacas in the garden were a novelty!

Very comfortable, excellent nights sleep. Wonderful location and view. Clean and relaxing.
Dislikes:
Would have preferred cooked breakfast. Wife was startled by the animals.
Response from Greatfield Lodge:
We make it very clear on our website that we offer a continental style breakfast - i.e. bread and a toaster, youghart, cereal, orange juice etc. Whilst we do understand that this may not suit some people, for anyone who wants to be able to get up when they want and have breakfast in the comfort and privacy of the annexe (i.e.not around someones kitchen table) then this is very much for you.
We have some very tame and friendly Alpacas that can be hand fed in the field next to the annexe.

"Very pleasant stay. Comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting."
We spent 1 night at Greatfield Lodge, as part of a weekend away in Hampshire for my 40th birthday.
The accommodation is set up in an annexe, independent from the main house. It is very comfortable, with a generous size main room comprising a double bed and a breakfast area. There is also a separate kitchen with a fridge and a large shower room/toilet area.
Our stay was very pleasant. Read less

Wake up and draw back the curtains for a beautiful view right from your bed. Our self contained garden annexe with a log burner, vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and beautiful views over the Hampshire countryside.

The garden annexe consists of a king sized bed in a large room with a log burner, tea and coffee making facilities and TV. There is a large ensuite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. We offer bed and a continental breakfast (toast, cereal, youghat and orange juice) with proper coffee which is left in a fridge and so you can wake up and have breakfast exactly when you want.

You can walk straight from the door to some fantastic country pubs, or explore the local area - we are 20 minutes from Stonehenge, 20 minutes from Winchester, 30 minutes from Salisbury, and only 15 minutes from Salisbury Plain.
