"Luxury in a period setting"
We had a one night B&B following a birthday party in a an adjacent village. we arrived at lunchtime , were shown to very large well furnished room with many period features an lots of antiques.

The beds and bath room were however of the 21st century!

We deposited our bags and were give a key to let ourselves in on return.

Our hosts offered to run us back to the party location.

After an excellent night's sleep we had a delicious full English breakfast in the book lined breakfastRead less

Parliament Barn prides itself on the warmth of its welcome, and we will do all we can to ensure that your stay is both as enjoyable and comfortable as possible

Parliament Barn is a Grade II listed building that has stood at the heart of the Herefordshire village of Winforton since 1625. Legend has it that Cromwell stabled his horses in the barn before setting off to lead his Parliamentary army to victory in the Battle.

Winforton is on the River Wye. This most famous of English salmon rivers, the Wye is a Mecca for fly fishermen and carves its way through the stunning beauty of mid-Wales and The Marches to reach the River Severn, 153 miles downstream.

The Wye Valley has beckoned visitors to its picturesque beauty since the late 18th century, and Parliament Barn is the ideal base for exploring the Brecon Beacons, the historic cities of Worcester and Hereford – each with a world-famous cathedral almost 1,000 years old and Hay-on-Wye, celebrated for its literary festival, and for excellent pubs and restaurants.
