Our final two nights of our United Kingdom vacation could not have been spent in a more pleasant place. The home is a beautifully restored home with great furnishings and terrific owners. Dougie and Jess were perfect hosts who made our stay even more memorable. Breakfast was very good, as all had been on our 20 day holiday. Read less

The rooms we had were large and very comfortable; a short walk took us to a trail along the Moray Firth, the bus stop and two very nice restaurants. A 3 mile drive to the Inverness Airport was a plua.
Dislikes:
The only bad memory of this Bed and Breakfast is that I left a pair of trousers there
Response from Inchrye Bed & Breakfast:

"A lovely stay away from th city's ably"
Jessie and Dougie are wonderful hosts, being available yet remarkably quiet and unobtrusive. The location is rugged , raw and beautiful. It is a bit away from the center of Inverness, so catching any early morning sightseeing departures is only possible via taxi. The bus, though, stops regularly for Inverness after early morning. Bus transport to the airport is not a realistic option. Walk the shores and village of Ardesier and experience true Highlands life! Read less

Inchrye Bed & Breakfast is in the setting of a victorian house built in the year 1901. We are situated on the shore of the Moray Firth looking across to Channery Point and the beautiful Black Isle. We are at the end of the historic village of Ardersier.

Dolphins are regular visitors to our area and are often seen just a half mile away at Fort George, we have also been fortunate enough to have seen at least 20 of these beautiful creatures on the beach at the bottom of our garden.

Fort George which is a short walk by road or along the beach is only a mile away and is also an excellent spot for dolphin watching.

Inverness airport is a mere 1.5 miles away. There is a very good bus service running between Inverness and Ardersier which stops at the airport and also the large retail park on route to Inverness.

We at Inchrye feel very privileged to live in the country side where we do. There are many many different birds in the area also we are a 2 minute walk from the common ground which is home to dozens of different varieties of butterflies also rabbits and the occasional roe deer. This is a very pretty walk, which we ourselves take on a daily basis.

Some of the local attractions are Cawdor Castle, Clava Cairns, Culloden battlefield and many country walks to name but a few.

There are two very good eating places and a Cafe within Two Hundred metres of Inchrye.
