We found the Tower House very homely and relaxing. We could come and go as we liked and felt like we were friends of Pippa and Mike. The Tower House was unique inside it looked ansd felt like a proper country home, it had warm feeling to it. it had a wonderful Shabby Chic interior and looked like it had come out of a Country Homes magazine. Everything, including Hector the dog and the cats. It was nice that Pippa made a Veggie breakfast for me, nothing seemed to be to much trouble for her.

Unwind in the enchanting Georgian home of Pippa and Mike Carter.

With Sissinghurst Castle and the Garden Coast just a short drive away, this is a perfect base to explore the delights of Kent & East Sussex.

Built in 1750, this Georgian house is fronted with the mathematical tiles that are unique to this area . The striking tower was added in 1904 for its French owner as an antidote to her pangs of homesickness for her native France. This french influence has inspired Pippa's creative style and can be found throughout the beautiful Georgian rooms.

Recent renovations to the house uncovered a time capsule hidden in the wall which gives a fascinating insight into the previous custodians.

Our guest rooms are tastefully furnished, crisp white linens, crunchy quilt covers, antique bedsteads and quality matresses with seriously refreshing showers complimented by piles of fluffy white towels. Then relax in the enchanting secluded garden, privately walled. The stunning gazebo provides the perfect retreat for a summer's evening. All rooms include Television, complimentary tea & coffee tray and free WiFi. Secure gated parking available for guests with vehicles.

Breakfast is served in the sunny Georgian dining room on vintage china from Pippa's collection. Prepared on a traditional Aga using local ingredients. A menu reflecting the seasons offers a delicious choice of creamy, jumbo porridge oats on a cold & frosty morning to a cool summer fresh fruit salad.

Freshly baked breads bought from the local bakery every morning compliment the homemade preserves and very good coffee.
