Stayed for 3 nights with my 13year old daughter, her friend an her friends mother. Sadly there was no one there to greet us on arrival, our key was left on the bar, seen a guy on the stairs who I presumed was another guest, turns out he was running the B&B since the owners where away on holiday, he was friendly and gave us good info on area. Room & bathroom was fairly clean. Breakfast was very good, although some of the dishes were a bit unclean. Read less

The location was ideal as we were only about 2 mins from central pier and town centre.
Dislikes:
went for a drink in the bar on our 1st night and there was no soft drinks for the kids, again on sunday we had a drink in the bar and still no soft drinks, guy had to run out and get 2 cans

The Tam O’ Shanter is the ideal Blackpool holiday choice, with a central Blackpool location and a warm and friendly family run service.
As a family run hotel, guests can enjoy our professional but friendly service as well as our superb wholesome homecooked food.
The Tam O Shanter is only a short walk to the town centre, providing ample shopping facilities and superb restaurant's to suit all tastes.
An equal distance brings you to Blackpool Tower, Wintergardens, Hounds Hill Shopping Centre, Night Clubs, Working men's clubs and lovely clean Sandy Beaches. All these are just 5-10 minute walk from the guesthouse.
All the main attractions are within easy reach either walking or by public transport.
We cater for couples, families with children of all ages, singles, senior citizens, conference delegates and business travellers. Small groups are also welcome but must pre book as we do not mix with families and couples.
Limited on street parking is available, but we have a Pay & Display next to the hotel.
