The clean and comfortable room. The friendly welcoming staff.
Dislikes:
Only that we didn't get to have breakfast! That was because we had to leave very early in the morning. Even then the owner offered to get up for us but we wouldn't have her do that!
Response from Kings Arms:
Thank you for your review. We welcome your feedback and are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you again and maybe next time you will be able to enjoy our breakfast too.

Location was good to combine holiday trip with visiting relatives. The Pub B+B was clean, nice location directly opposite a working windmill. Room was ideal for our needs and surprisingly quiet.

The usual cook was off. The replacement cook couldn't make it.Went to another restaurant.
Response from Kings Arms:
Dear guest, we are again sorry that we were unable to provide evening meals on the night of your stay with us. This was due to staff illness which was beyond our control. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused and hope that it did not spoil your stay with us too much.

Boston's history is a rich one, littered with notable characters and events. In the middle ages the town grew to become an important port for the Hanseatic traders of northern Europe and for a period in the 13th Century Boston was the leading port in England. In 1545 the town was granted its charter and became a Borough. By the 17th Century Boston had become a centre of religious non-conformism, inspired by figures such as John Foxe and John Cotton. Many Bostonians, including Cotton, left to take up a new life in Massachusetts.

As time went by, the drainage of the fenlands and the construction of extensive sea banks created vast areas of rich land suitable for the cultivation of crops, and led to another period of growth in the town.
