We spend five nights in Glentorets B&B which is a very relaxing and welcoming place due to Mark and Val's exceptional service. The rooms have a very high standard of cleanliness, there is a very good choice of breakfast and after skiing we enjoyed Mark and Val's superb dinners. They even went out of their way to cook something nice for the little one. Quite incredible! Read less

We liked to stay in a family room in a B&B which would allow us to use a separate lounge so that the little one can go to sleep while we relax in the evening. The atmosphere and food was all perfect!

There was nothing we did not like.
Response from Glentorets B&B:
Thank you for your wonderful review of our bed and breakfast, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and also your breakfast and evening meals, we really did not mind providing you with meals that little man would eat and enjoy, hopefully these filled all his tummy's!! We thoroughly enjoyed having you stay and little man was very entertaining and chatty which we liked very much, we also enjoyed your company too. We hope that you will come back and stay with us in the future. Val & Mark

Glentorets is a modern detached house with uninterrupted views from the rear over the river Conglass and beyond.

Situated in the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland, at around 1170ft (356 m), Tomintoul, the north east gateway to the Cairngorm National Park, is a perfect base from which to capture the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Our location gives easy access to Aviemore, and Grantown on Spey, with Inverness only a 60 minute drive away.

The wide-open spaces of Glenlivet and the Cairngorms are an ideal environment in which to get active and enjoy the great Scottish outdoors. Over 100 miles of way marked walking and cycling trails give some of the best backcountry access to be found in Scotland.

The Rivers Avon and Livet are major tributaries of the renowned River Spey with a significant reputation for the quality of salmon and sea trout fishing that can be enjoyed along their reaches. As your accommodation provider we will be able to advise you on how to obtain a fishing permit.
