We stayed here for one night only, as part of a road trip tour from Inverness to Edinburgh and were very much delighted with both the quality of the rooms and the fantastic breakfast. The property is located on a quiet road off the main road and is within easy walking distance to the village where there is a restaurant and pubs that serve food. Read less

"Wonderful B&B in lovely area"
Thank you Valerie and Mark for a memorable stay in your lovely house, we felt at home from the very first moments. You two are such a nice and most welcoming couple, we wish we could have stayed longer. The house is impeccable, the breakfast extremely delicious. Whenever we travel to this area again to visit the whisky distilleries for example, we will be happy to stay with you again. Thanks and kind regards, Heidi + Ernst from Switzerland Read less

Glentorets is a modern detached house with uninterrupted views from the rear over the river Conglass and beyond.

Situated in the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland, at around 1170ft (356 m), Tomintoul, the north east gateway to the Cairngorm National Park, is a perfect base from which to capture the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Our location gives easy access to Aviemore, and Grantown on Spey, with Inverness only a 60 minute drive away.

The wide-open spaces of Glenlivet and the Cairngorms are an ideal environment in which to get active and enjoy the great Scottish outdoors. Over 100 miles of way marked walking and cycling trails give some of the best backcountry access to be found in Scotland.

The Rivers Avon and Livet are major tributaries of the renowned River Spey with a significant reputation for the quality of salmon and sea trout fishing that can be enjoyed along their reaches. As your accommodation provider we will be able to advise you on how to obtain a fishing permit.
