"Home from home"
This was our third visit to Links Lodge. Very comfortable beds with excellent fresh clean facilities. Hosts John,Angela and the staff are most welcoming and very helpful indeed, nothing was beyond them when it came to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The cooked breakfast was delicious, not only do you have a cooked breakfast option but also a cold selection of cereals, fruit and various yoghurts. Angela's homemade banana loaf is a treat. Where to start - the friendly owners and staff, the comfortable room and spacious bathroom, the view, and the amazing breakfast with top-quality ingredients cooked to perfection.
Dislikes:
There was of course noise from the RAF planes, but only during the day.
Response from Links Lodge:
Many thanks James for your kind review, glad you enjoyed your stay.

Overlooking the 18th green of Lossiemouth's Championship Old Course, Covesea Bay and the Moray Firth to the hills of Sutherland and beyond, this 100 year old Lodge is an ideal base, whatever your activity (or non activity) in the Moray Area.

This is the perfect base for the ultimate 'unpack once' trip. Moray's 2 links courses are at the very heart of the 'north circuit' of championship links golf. You are in easy daily striking distance of everywhere from Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay and the new Trump course at Balmedie to Nairn, Castle Stuart and Dornoch. Add in inland tracks like Elgin and Spey Valley plus a host of others and you can see why this is the centre of the golfing universe (in our eyes!)

We have three quality en-suite rooms and one ground floor room with a superb private bath room and shower. All have Tea/Coffee, Hairdryer, Water, Digital Freeview TV, and Wireless Broadband Internet access.

Our superb 3 bedroom (6 bed) sister property next door is called BeachView Apartment. It has an open Kitchen/Dining and Lounge with uninterrupted sea views. The apartment is fully kitted out with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Freeview TV in each room and free Wi-Fi access. Larger groups can combinethe Apartment with the Guesthouse - both are rated 4 stars.

Breakfast is included and carries a mouthwatering range of chilled fruit juices, yoghurt, crunchy cereals, fresh fruit, porridge, smoked fish, local butchers succulent pork sausages and black pudding, chestnut mushrooms, vine tomatoes, juicy back bacon, free range eggs cooked just how you like them, Fairtrade tea and coffee and a rack of hot buttered toast.
