Likes:
Staff were great and location was really good, including parking.
Dislikes:
Although the sash windows add lovely character, they rattled a bit in the high winds overnight. Fixing the locks on them would sort this out.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night. Arrived late which was deemed inconsiderate on my part. My family and I were grudgingly admitted entry to the B&B. I've stayed in cleaner accommodation in third world countries. Breakfast was pretty good, with generous portions and jovial service. Read less

Proximity to town.
Dislikes:
Toilet was unflushed, with stale urine. Low shower pressure. Bed had several small hairs on the sheets. Decorative cushions on the bed had a veneer of grime. Towels stained with small dark spots.

"Extremely Disappointing"
Booked a 3 night stay six months earlier and we were given a cramped room on the ground floor. We have had in the past, more suitable rooms for the length of stay. The heating didn’t seem to work and the shower was lukewarm. The tv remote was missing and the room wasn’t very clean and tea/coffee not replenished. The standard of the breakfast has gone downhill to its present state which seems to be a very reluctant afterthought! It WAS alway a lovely place to stay Read less
Likes:
There is a pub around the corner offering not only alcohol, but warmth and space. Shame they don’t do rooms!
Dislikes:
Price has doubled since we first came here and the quality has halved. Came home early & still had to pay in full because the room couldn’t be resold but it was unfit to sell to us in the first place
