"Another great stay"
This was our second visit to The Estate House. We were greeted like old friends and made to feel very welcome. We had the same room, Heron, a twin overlooking the back of the house, a great place to watch the birds feeding!. We had everything in the room that we could have wanted, including fresh milk each day to go with the choice of teas, coffee, chocolate and biscuits on the hospitality tray. Great choice for breakfast and freshly cooked to order. Read less

"A delightful stay with friendly hosts providing excellent accomodation and service."
We arrived on Saturday evening to a friendly reception from our hosts. They had kindly booked dinner for us in a nearby hostelry. We had a very comfortable night followed by an excellent breakfast which included local kippers. Breakfast was served early enough for us to reach Holy Island while the tides were off the Causeway. Our second night was equally comfortable and we left, reluctantly, for home as planned on the Monday morning. A delightful stay at the Estate House. Read less

Excellent reception and service.
Exceptionally clean and well presented accommodation.
A comfortable room and bed.
Excellent breakfasts.
Dislikes:
Directions were confusing. A good map would be helpful but the Estate House is in the middle of the village of Ford and easy to find.
Response from The Estate House:
John - Thanks so much for your positive review we appreciate you taking the time - regarding the issue around directions we agree that there can be some confusion - the whole Village has the same Post Code! however we are in the process of updating our web site and clarity of directions is on our priority list. We look froward to welcoming you back again soon.
Regards
Bill Debs & Samantha
